Healthy Kids Running Series was created to motivate kids to lead a healthy and active lifestyle through a positive introduction to the world of running! The Science Academy offers one-week STEM classes for middle and high school students. These dynamic programs inspire students to explore diverse fields of science and technology through hands-on projects, building a strong foundation for future academic and career success.. Cardinal Summer Camp

The Swansea Public School Department is pleased to offer a summer camp opportunity to our students. This camp will be recreational in nature and is open to Swansea students who are currently in grades Kindergarten through fifth grade. If you are interested in your child attending this summer camp please fill out the application (click image documents) and return it to your child’s school. For further information please contact Camp Director, Karen McCabe at 508-679-4049. Registration deadline is March 13, 2026.

DESE

Swansea Public Schools will undergo an Integrated Monitoring Review conducted by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education during the week of March 23, 2026. This review will focus on key areas of special education, including student identification and eligibility timelines, Individualized Education Program development, programming and services, and procedural requirements related to suspensions and equal opportunity. Families of students receiving special education services may receive a survey from the Department, and additional information about the process is included in the attached letter.

The 2024 District and School Report Cards are published. Every year, each public school and school district in Massachusetts receives a report card. The district and individual school report cards are designed to show families how our district and individual schools are doing in different areas. They look at district and school performances, by providing information on student achievement, teacher qualifications, student learning opportunities, student attendance, student performance on state tests and much more.
